What Your Training Left Out About Midlife Women

Midlife Women as a Specialized Population

Midlife Women as a Specialized Population is a 3-hour NBHWC-approved continuing education course designed to help health and wellness coaches better understand the unique coaching needs of women in midlife.

Midlife women are one of the most underserved populations in conventional healthcare and one of the most common client groups in health and wellness coaching. You have seen her: normal labs, real symptoms, changing sleep, stress, energy, weight, mood, and motivation. She is doing the work, but the habits are not sticking the way they used to.

This course gives coaches a framework for understanding why midlife women may require a more specialized, nuanced approach to behavior change. Participants explore how hormonal transition, stress physiology, nervous system regulation, and metabolic health patterns can influence client readiness, consistency, and follow-through.

Over this NBHWC-approved CE course, you will learn how to better recognize midlife-specific coaching considerations, adapt your communication and pacing, support client self-awareness, and remain within the health and wellness coaching scope of practice.
